How would I go about working with Non-Farm Animals? Michael asks.
If you wanted to do veterinary care, you would have to go to vet school after college. It is very competitive so try to get the best grades in college that you can. If you want to be a zookeeper, there are many keeper training schools throughout the country and some zoos train their keepers themselves. You can also intern or volunteer your time at a wildlife sanctuary or rehabilitation center or a zoo near you. Working with wild animals is a very difficult job. It involves a lot of hard work, many precautions to keep you safe and sometimes involves injury. It rarely involves cuddling small, furry animals that people might think. Good luck!
