Ambrosia artemisiifolia

Habitat

Common weed of field and roadside.

Description

Up to 6' tall - blooms in summer to fall. Tiny, green flowers grow at the top of plant on long spikes. Leaves are feather and opposite each other on stem.

Flower Type: Flowers too small to be seen clearly - in tall spikes (racemes) on the top of the plant
Flower Color: Green
Leaf Arrangement: Opposite or alternate
Plant Type: Wildflower (Tall - 1-6 feet)
Leaf Type: Divided with 3-5 deep lobes - lacy looking
