Nature Trails are a great way to get kids outside looking and exploring. They are also a way to enhance science education. They can be used to introduce animals, plants, life cycles, food webs, ecology, conservation issues, and a myriad of other science topics.
Schools can create their own nature trails right on campus. They can identify species, map their trails and make little field guides, all while learning about science, their local habitats and ecology.
