They are found on the island of Madagascar.
They live in deciduous forests.
Males are gray-brown, while females are red-brown. They can weigh up to 8 pound (4 kg). They have very long tails, up to 2 feet long (55cm). They have yellow eyes with a lighter patch of fur around the eyes and a dark nose.
They live up in the trees (arboreal) in groups. They use loud calls to mark territory or in alarm.
They eat leaves, fruit, seeds, insects and bark.
They are killed by snakes eagles, fossa and man.
Females are pregnant for 4 months (gestation) and have 1 baby.
They can live more than 20 years. They are listed as Lower Risk - near threatened.
