Range

They are found on Madagascar.

Habitat

They live in the forest.

Body Traits

They are the smallest of the lemurs. They reach only about 5–11 inches long (12–27 cm) and weigh a pound or less (30–460 g). They have big eyes and pointed little noses. The nose, fingers and toes can be pink.

Habits

They are active at night (nocturnal).

Diet

They eat insects, fruit, leaves and flowers.

Predators

They are killed by snakes eagles, fossa and man.

Reproduction

Females are pregnant 3-4 months (gestation). They have 2-3 babies in a safe nest.
