The Drawing Animals program takes the audience on an illustrated tour of the animals that, author-illustrator, Sheri Amsel has photographed and illustrated in her 25 year career. With the help of her brother, zoo-vet, Dr. Scott Amsel, Sheri has traveled all over the country and photgraphed every size and shape of animal from elephants to geckos to illustrate for her book projects.
You will meet the animals Sheri had photographed and turned into the illustrations in her book and hear about some of the startling adventures she has had while visiting zoos and preserves with Dr. Amsel. The 30-minute slide show is followed by a drawing session where the audience will learn to draw several wild animals.
The Adirondack Animals and Habitats of the World programs can be adapted as evening programs as well.
Evening and library programs last for 1-hour and cost $250. Programs can include a book sale and signing.
